Cat Boxing Toy

Maybe not. Cats are not obliged to like anything, and any shop telling you otherwise is guessing on your behalf.

What we will say is this: give it a week or two before you decide. Most of what looks like rejection on day one is a cat waiting to be sure the thing is theirs. And if two weeks go by and they are still not interested, that is on us — see the next panel.

Give it a week or two first. Cats are careful with anything new, and most of what looks like a no on day one is a cat waiting until the thing smells like theirs. We know cats: if yours still hasn't taken to it two weeks after it arrived, it almost never will.

That's when you write to support@trybeaumont.com: "My cat hasn't taken to it." You get 100% of your money back, no questions asked. Nothing to send back, no return label you pay for yourself. If you can, give it to someone you care about — that's all we ask. You trusted us, so we trust you.

Anything up to thirty days from delivery. Wondering about something before then? Just ask us.

No. It goes in the same parcel as the rest of your order, on the same day, at no extra shipping cost.

Adding it here is the cheapest way to get it: ordered separately later it would carry its own delivery.

Everything we sell is meant to be used unsupervised by an animal that chews, claws and sits on things — that is the bar it has to clear before we list it.

The specifics for this item are on the images above. If something is not answered there, ask us before you buy rather than after.

Beaumont is a small shop, not a marketplace. One catalogue, chosen slowly, and a real person on the other end of the email.

Small is the reason the guarantee can be this simple. We would rather refund you and keep you than win an argument about a return.

We had lost faith in online shopping. Return windows that only count unopened boxes. Return labels that cost more than the thing you bought. Refunds that quietly turn into store credit. Most of it is legal, because in the US each shop gets to write its own rules.

So we did the only logical thing: we looked for the place where shoppers are treated best. We landed on Norway, which happens to be where we are from.

In Norway one consumer law covers every shop, and no shop can write its way around it. A state agency, Forbrukertilsynet, watches the shops and fines the ones that break the rules, every day until they stop. One online store was fined 2 million kroner, about $185,000, for what many US shops would call a normal marketing trick.

We cannot bring Norwegian law to the US. But we can run Beaumont as if it applied here, and then go one step further: if it isn't right for you or your cat, you get 100% of your money back, and there is nothing to send back.
